Royal CRM

End-to-end tracking of a machine’s whole life, from build to after-sales service: overseas purchasing, production, shipping, installation and service records all meet on one machine record.

The problem

The process began with overseas purchasing, continued through production, shipping and installation, and carried on for years in after-sales service. Because each stage lived somewhere else, there was no single answer to “when was this machine built, who received it, when was it last serviced”.

What I built

Every machine got one record tied to its serial number, and the whole process runs on it: overseas purchasing and imports, production and work orders, shipping, installation and commissioning, warranty and after-sales service. The sales side — leads, opportunities, quotes, calls and support tickets — hangs off the same record.

  • Overseas purchasing and import process
  • Production and work orders with a serial-number machine record
  • Shipping, installation and commissioning
  • Warranty and after-sales service records
  • Leads, opportunities, quotes and call logs
  • Warehouse, stock and spare-part movements
  • Access levels: who sees what and who can change what

The result

A machine’s history from day one sits on one screen. The service team knows which parts went in and when the last maintenance happened before heading out, and sales sees the same history.
